Will Young annuncia il nuovo album
Atteso il prossimo 6 agosto il nuovo progetto di Will Young dal titolo Crying on the bathroom floor su etichetta Cooking Viny. Arriva a due anni di distanza da Lexicon, il settimo album di studio di Will Young, il primo con la sua etichetta.
Dopo aver composto brani per diciotto anni, Will Young celebra alcune delle artiste del panorama pop femminile mondiale rivisitando in chiave moderna e personale le loro canzoni. L’artista sottolinea che non si tratta di un disco di cover.
“I’ve always enjoyed singing other people’s songs. There is a liberation to it. It’s how I feel when I approach a script. I have reverence for the piece of art and the artist who created it. I wanted to bring songs from female artists who I admire into a new arena. I wanted to work with Richard X again to create a true pop record”.
